Keep the news free
PluseNews has no paywall and no subscriptions. It runs entirely on reader support. If you find it useful, here's how you can help keep it going.

A one-off donation keeps the site running and development moving. Any amount is appreciated — Ko-fi takes 0% on one-off tips so every cent reaches us.

The single most impactful thing you can do — share PluseNews with one person who'd find it useful. Word of mouth is how independent sites grow.
Why is PluseNews free?
We built PluseNews because quality news shouldn't require a subscription. By aggregating freely available content from The Guardian, Hacker News, and Reddit, we can offer a clean, fast, multi-source news reader at zero cost to readers.
There are no investors, no ad networks, and no data collection. Reader donations and newsletter subscriptions are the only things that keep the lights on. Every contribution — however small — genuinely helps.
What your support makes possible
More sources
Adding new news sources and categories requires API credits and dev time. Support funds expansion.
Faster updates
A faster refresh cycle (every 5 minutes instead of 15) needs more API quota — support makes it possible.
Mobile app
A native iOS and Android app is on the roadmap. Reader support is what gets it built.
Breaking alerts
Push notifications for breaking news across your chosen topics — funded by reader support.
